October 2011 Speaker Info Correction
The last posting indicated that the book written by our October speaker, Harriet McLeod, “Good Morning Lowcountry!: Local Knowledge, Odd Facts, Recipes, Survival Tips for Living in the South Carolina Swamp,” would be for sale at our Meeting on October 17th for $14.95. The correct cost is $14.05, which includes tax, and Ms. McLeod will be available and happy to autograph your copy.

Women Helping Women Succeed
At our May meeting we’ll be joined by Gail Montgomery from East Cooper Community Outreach well known to locals in Charleston as “ECCO” to accept our donations of professional women’s clothing and tell us a little bit about ECCO and what they do to help women re-train and/or enter the workforce.
Please remember to bring your donations for ECCO to help women have quality professional wear to enter the job market.

March 2011 Speaker Announced
Our speaker will be Dr. Tron Malachowski a specific chiropractor in Summerville.
Dr. Tron Malachowski graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and then enrolled in the Kale TIC Institute for postgraduate studies in Upper Cervical Specific chiropractic. There Dr. Tron studied directly under Dr. B.J. Kale, the son and legacy of Dr. Michael U. Kale, a master practitioner of specific chiropractic.
In order to better serve his community, Dr. Tron unveiled his signature Healthy Living – God’s Way program. Through this effort, Dr. Tron has helped the state of South Carolina lose a combined weight of over 600 pounds. Dr. Tron has been awarded the prestigious Kale Network Visionary and Esteemed Kale Excellence Awards for this work. Currently Dr. Tron is working on a research study on Parkinson’s disease, which hopes will gain international publication.
